Great memories you are building! Our 3 still remember going out to cut down the tree...how special to have one in her room with her own decorations.

Your tree looks great Journey. Looks like you had to walk in deep snow to find it too. I can't wait to see it with all your own decorations. I put up my tree last night and the ornaments were either homemade or special keepsakes. I am going to have to find a "My first home" ornament to mark my first Christmas in my first home. I can't wait to share Christmas dinner with you in my home this year. Love Laura

Thanks for making me homesick Amy. Most people here just buy a few branches a day or two before new years. Maybe in Tuva we will find a place to get our own tree again. David

Oh remember those trips to the 'new property' to get our trees David? Sliding down the avalanche crests on the bank? Good times. I have enjoyed my store bought trees too .. but there's nothing quite like going out into nature and cutting one down yourself.

I guess we were taking too long to pick ours this year because at one point while Garron and I were discussing the pros and cons of one particular unit Journey piped up and sighed 'I think this one is just FINE'.
