Here are two of our three Blue Jays. We started feeding the birds a few weeks ago so far these are the most interesting (and beautiful) species to have come to our yard. We also have sparrows (by the dozens), chickadees, woodpeckers, and some brown speckled bird I can't identify yet.

Blue jays love peanuts altho they hide a lot of them - occasinally you can see them sitting in a tree or on a fence cracking the shell and eating. They also love dog kibbles - got to watch the dog doesn't starve!
