For Sara's Benefit
The following pics are for my sister Sara. I went to see a house for her today and had to take some photos to show her what it was like. I guess she liked what she saw cause she will be moving in to said house over the next two weeks. (anyone available to help?!) I am thrilled that she will be closer to me and hope Amanda will soon follow in her footsteps. (no pressure Manda ... no pressure)
This house I found for Sara is on 75 acres, has 3 HUGE barns, a riding ring, numerous outdoor corrals, a big garage, and a humongous workshop. I was told it used to be an ostrich farm and when I went in one of the barns I did find a lot of feathers lying about. Funny. An ostrich farm right here in central Alberta. A bit eerie actually. Anyways, I hope John and Sara will be comfy here. I know John is concerned about the drive to work in Calgary so maybe we should all be praying he finds work closer to his new home.
They will be a real asset to the community! Welcome home guys!

I think Sara likes to move as much as we do. That is exciting. Looks like a nice clean house. Is it giganto like their last house? How many bedrooms? So glad you will be closer. I guess Sierra will switch schools?
Yes, I wouldn't look forward to the drive into calgary everyday either but maybe with the $ saved John can buy some new exciting cd's to keep it interesting. and some good coffee.
wish we could help with the move:( erin
Sara commenting here to answer some questions. Sierra will switch schools but not until next year..still gotta figure out the best way to accomplish this.
It is a much smaller house than before, thank goodness I say...I'mnot the worlds best house cleaner (well I'm actually really good when I do it, but getting around to it, and keeping it clean....nigh impossible it seems. Anyhow, it has 3 big bedrooms, one with the ensuite you see in the pictures, and which Sierra tried to claim for herself and actually pouted when I said it was our room. But she picked the next biggest one which is across from the main bathroom and beside E.D.'s room. It is all compact and precise really...is a modular so too much partyng could cause the seem in the middle to widen and crack...we'll try to be careful :) The barns are huge, too many for us to use, but we'll use parts of at least one :) and it'll be good exercise for me getting down ot them, they are aways away, easier when the snow melts for sure. Thanks amy for keeping an eye out for us.
I'll also be continuing my celebrate recovery group and possibly sunday school so pray that we can get our travel times organized!!

PS...Erin, do you really want to help move, come on now...it ain't fun...till you get so tired that everything is funny :)and you can't stop the hysterical laughter!!
oh yeah...upon seeing the garage that I slyly told John probably wouldn't really do for his workshop...he did a dance, shook his posterior and, well, screamed really...a gutteral manly whoop/yell/? of happiness. It is very large, cement floor, single garage door on one side and a double overly tall door on the other end. Insulated, but doesn't seem to be heated, even has 220 electrical outlet? Oh well...he likes it a lot!! He took the time to see all the barns, but then suggested we just go and sit in the garage for awhile :) funny.
