Last Saturday the town held its annual Christmas Tree Burn. The local grocery store caters a hotdog/hot chocolate supper and puts on a brilliant fire-works display. Every one brings their Christmas trees and the fire department makes a big bonfire out of them. Its fun! Oh yeah, there were hayrides too. We forgot to bring Journey's little tree to the party so we had to hold one of our own in the back yard. (We had forgotten to water her tree for much of the holidays so when I finally took it down every single needle fell off before I could get it outside. Funny)
